Overall Purpose:

The Software Developer is responsible for maintaining existing systems and developing new features and technology.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain web applications (Javascript, Retool)
  • Develop and maintain database and stored procedures (SQL Server)
  • Develop and maintain business logic applications (C#, Python)
  • Design and architect solutions for reliability and performance
  • Assist with application integration and deployment
  • Provide coordination between staff and IT vendors
  • Lead projects and coordinate resources
  • Maintain documentation

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrates ability to follow projects through to successful completion while adhering to deadlines
  • Proficiency in a common language such as Python, C# or similar
  • Knowledge of front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Proficiency in database design, administration, and optimization

 Knowledge, Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years work-related experience preferred
