Overall Purpose:

This individual is responsible for providing retirement guidance to employees of our clients in a way that provides a high value experience, thoroughly educates participants, and contributes to making our clients raving fans of our service.

Essential Functions:

  • Successfully conduct 401(k) education for participants
  • Evaluating retirement readiness and develop strategy for remaining work years
  • Starting or updating investment choices
  • Preparing for distributions, whether staying in or exiting the plan
  • Calculate the current income replacement for a client or prospect’s average 401(k) participant
  • Calculate the needed auto enroll, re-enroll, and escalation features needed to improve the plan’s average participant to be on track to retire
  • Analyze 401(k) match structure to optimize employer contributions.
  • Pursue the Purpose of the firm and demonstrate our Core Values in all interactions with stakeholders of the firm and the public
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. May include some overnight travel.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service skills
  • Good understanding of financial planning principles.
  • Well organized and process oriented.

Knowledge, Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3 years of industry experience preferred
